Lora DeLorenzo

Lora’s love for entertaining was instilled at a very young age.

Growing up in such a young family, she was always learning from her great grandmother Josephine about all the incredible Italian secrets from sauce making to signature dishes including beef braciole and cannoli’s. (When Lora’s daughter Nicolette was born, a momentous photo of five generations of women from the Incorvia/Vara family was taken.)

Josephine and her sisters, along with her daughters (Lora’s grandmother & great aunts), were the key to lively Sicilian traditions including weddings, family reunions, and milestone birthday celebrations. These past memories of her Italian family history created the passion and caring personality of who Lora is today and the incredible attention to detail she brings to each personalized party for every client.

The story continued with Lora attending Johnson & Wales and additional culinary arts degree programs while also working in the hospitality industry.

Wine service and management skills combined with food and wine pairing techniques were added to her resume when Lora earned the Second Level Advanced Wine Certificate from the INTERNATIONAL SOMMELIER GUILD.

By operating a 100-seat full-service restaurant and bar on beautiful Lake Eola her journey in the events world continued to evolve.

Lora has consistently dedicated a large portion of her time to philanthropy and assisting children and families in need by serving on committees and boards throughout the entire country.

In August 2013, Lora culminated all her experiences by launching Overeasy Events, a full-service event planning and design company. With the expertise Overeasy Events provides in the areas of fine details, organization, and communication services (combined with well-nurtured partner and vendor relationships) a dynamic and capable team produces unique, inspired, and unforgettable events in the Orlando and Winter Park Area and beyond.

Kailey Sexton

Kailey is a Florida native from Winter Park and has a love for weddings and events. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Apparel Design with a focus on Bridal from Auburn University.

Following her completion of her degree, Kailey began her career working in bridal retail while in Birmingham, AL. She has had the honor of completing numerous custom bridal gowns from concept to finish.

Once back in Florida, Kailey joined Overeasy Events as a Senior Planner and Designer. She has an eye for style and finds it cathartic to create tablescapes. It is her passion to search for the small details of event design to bring the clients visions to life! It is especially exciting for her to help blend the client’s ideas into one cohesive vision and then make that vision a reality!

She works behind the scenes with clients to source the best vendors and products for their event and to pull together all of the small details that truly make an event unforgettable. On the day of the event, you will find her interacting with each of the vendors to keep everyone on the same page and accountable, as well as offering the client a calming presence while ensuring that everyone has what they need.

When at home, Kailey absolutely loves baking! Anything with sugar or fruit. Her guilty pleasure is watching the great British baking show on repeat and then destroying her kitchen as she attempts to recreate their recipes!

Rachel Kaufman

Rachel began her involvement in event planning and consulting before she even had her driver’s license. Her first job was with a caterer, prepping food, in her hometown of Woodbridge, CT. Rachel was born and raised in New England and as a high-school graduate she moved to Winter Park, FL to earn her bachelor’s degree at Rollins College. While at Rollins, Rachel was eager to meet people and get involved in the community. Shortly after her move she started working in high-end retail on Park Avenue, and a mutual friend introduced her to Lora DeLorenzo.

After that meeting, Rachel worked as an intern and assistant for a Central Florida non profit for over three years with the hopes of bringing educational equality to underprivileged children living in Orange County. Much of her involvement included: fundraising, event coordination, volunteer organization, and the production of the annual Player’s Ball Gala under the guidance of Lora and her team.

In January 2013, Rachel joined Hilton Grand Vacations to embark further in hospitality. Despite her full time position with HGV, Rachel continues to assist Lora at Overeasy Events where you can find her at events staging decor and utilizing her training behind the scenes. With over 10 years of experience, Rachel’s love for design, attention to detail, and desire to make the “special” moments in life “unforgettable” are noticeably evident in her work.

Robyn Guokas

With over 15 years of integrated marketing experience, Robyn joined the Overeasy Events team as a marketing consultant and day-of special events team member. Her love of special events grew from her early career of planning some of Orlando's most charitable soireés for a local professional sports team. Now, Robyn gets to apply her creativity and attention to detail in bringing the most unforgettable moments to life.

Joy Krout

Joy Krout is from just north of Atlanta, Georgia where she lived until she was 18 years old. She is now currently earning her Associate of Arts in Hospitality and Event Planning from Valencia College, and she plans on attending UCF in the fall.

She grew up being involved in a lot of volunteer opportunities and working with events for JDRF, her local church, and World Changers. Joy previously worked for the Walt Disney World Resort giving tours of Animal Kingdom’s African Savanna. Currently, she is attempting to earn her wine certification by the end of the year.

Her favorite part of the event industry and wedding planning is getting to be just a small part of people’s happiest memories. She has always had a passion for creating things and situations for others to enjoy and experience. And she adores helping to mold those beautiful scenarios that end up being someone’s happily ever after or their best day ever. At Overeasy Events, Joy gets to see firsthand how much these few hours in a day really mean to people. Every last detail matters, and at Overeasy, she works with Lora and her team to make sure that even those minor things are priorities.

As Social Marketing and Events Intern with Overeasy Events, Joy will be able to explore new aspects within the social media realm, while also assisting with events and coordination duties

In her spare time, she loves to move! Exercising and trying new restaurants top her list, as well as being outside and walking her dog. The outdoors bring her a sense of peace, but she also enjoys creative outlets like painting, writing, and doing little projects. She loves the chance to explore and see new places and experience the happiness that brings.
